Gabriella Rose-Carter is an alumna of the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute – New York with a two year conservatory degree. Fellow alumni from the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute include Uma Thurman,Scarlett Johansson, Claire Danes, Sienna Miller, Barbara Streisand, Sally Field, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Al Pacino and Paul Newman.
Ms Carter is also an alumna of the Susan Batson Studio - New York. Susan Batson is the private coach to Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey and Juliette Binoche.
Gabriella conveys over 20 years of acting experience in both training and performance.
A researcher of humanity, creative thinking and storytelling, Gabriella is one of Melbourne’s most respected and sought after acting coaches. She is the founder of Q44 Theatre Inc which in 2017 became a community organisation with not-for-profit status.
Gabriella has had the honour of working with and learning from some of the worlds leading acting professionals, including LOGIE and ARIA award winner Noni Hazlehurst, Larry Moss and Jean-Louis Rodrigue who work extensively with Leonardo DiCaprio, Susan Batson private coach to Nicole Kidman and Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy recipient Ellen Burstyn.
Ms Carter was invited by Ellen Burstyn to become a permanent observer of the Actors Studio - New York in 2013.

For the past 3 years Gabriella has lectured at the University of Melbourne - Master of Creative Writing program.
